Needham Chalks operate a comprehensive soil testing service using F.A.C.T.S. accredited field advisers.

The Company’s soil pH testing service, founded on decades of experience, recognises that soil pH can vary considerably on a single field, hence it is vital that enough samples are taken to ensure that lime is only applied to those areas that require it, the aim being to bring the whole field up to an even pH.

The company also carries out soil nutrient analysis for fertiliser requirements, ranging from P.K. & Mg down to trace elements.

Also available is a Total Nitrogen Testing service which is carried out in conjunction with Alliance Technical Laboratories. Good practice and compliance mean that these tests are now an essential management tool.
