| Needham Chalks Ltd was established in 1947 at its current base of Needham Market Chalk Quarry, Suffolk. Today we are the largest supplier of quarried chalk in East Anglia producing over 100,000 tonnes for agriculture and industrial uses.
We currently operate out of 7 quarries around East Anglia and draw on others if required. We process our chalk for a range of purposes including Agricultural Lime, Brick Chalk, Industrial Chalk, Line Marking, Heritage Mortars to name but a few. We are also the largest producer of knapped and whole flints into the decorative building market in the UK supplying to a range of prestigious projects both in the UK and across Europe. We also offer soil sampling services to local Farmers for pH and Nutrient analysis and are the main supplier of Fibrophos and Phos-Grow Fertiliser in East Anglia.
